Lovejoy ISD voters last approved a bond package over 10 years ago in 2014. Now is the time to commit to our schools and ensure they remain strong for future generations.

Every dollar raised through the bond will stay in Lovejoy ISD—bond funds are not subject to recapture, ensuring that your tax dollars directly benefit our students and schools.

Construction costs continue to rise due to inflation. Delaying facility projects will only result in higher costs down the road— acting now saves our community money in the long run.

Some bond projects, such as LED lighting upgrades and HVAC replacements, are expected to save approximately $300,000 annually in operational costs, enabling these savings to be redirected toward supporting students and staff.

Lovejoy ISD’s tax rate is the lowest it has been in two decades, making this an opportune moment to fund these essential projects responsibly.

Lovejoy ISD has saved taxpayers $31 million since 2016 by refunding four bonds and an additional $6.9 million by making early principal payments. This demonstrates our commitment to responsible financial management.

Bond funds are the primary funding mechanism for major facility upgrades, renovations, and new construction. By funding these projects through bonds, we free up the general (M&O) budget to support teaching and learning—where it matters most.
